Microsoft has announced a partnership with Netflix in which the popular US online video rental service’s members will be able to download films for viewing using Xbox 360 videogame consoles.
The exclusive partnership comes as Microsoft strives to expand its popular Xbox Live online system which lets console owners play videogames with friends and download films, television shows and music via the Internet. Netflix lets members download films for viewing on computers and maintain online queues of DVDs that are mailed to homes.
Xbox Live service users will be able to route Netflix film downloads to Xbox 360 consoles to watch on televisions People with Xbox Live and Netflix accounts will also be able to share downloaded videos via the Internet to “watch them together despite sitting on different couches,” said Xbox Live vice president John Schappert.
“You can now share Netflix movies with a Live Party at no extra cost,” Schappert said while making the announcement in Los Angeles on the eve of an Electronic Entertainment Expo videogame industry gathering. A day earlier, Microsoft announced it is cutting 50 dollars from the price of 20-gigabyte Xbox 360 models in the United States and Canada to clear the way for a version of the console with 60 gigabytes of hard drive memory. I guess it is time to upgrade my xbox 360’s hard drive!

Well I actually would love to see a new Spawn movie and I do love cats but somehow I don’t see this doing well in the theaters.

So who likes to play games? I do, I do!!! Seriously I am 40 years old but I love to play all sorts of games. I remember when I was young, a pre-teen, my favourite game was monopoly and something called ‘Movie Makers’. On TV you could catch me watching game shows daily with my mom.
These days you can find a zillion games by heading over to your nearest web browser any typing in free online games, your search will yield tons of great time-wasters from racing games to card games.
I am actually thinking of creating my own online game based on dead actors. The goal of the game would be to earn as much money as possible staring in box office hits before you die. During your life you can run into nastly, money draining divorces, stints in rehab that decrease your star appeal and other hazards.
What do you think? Is this game idea a winner?

Here is a brief review of the last two movies I saw in the theater.
Jumper - This one had tons of potential but came up short. It is painfully obvious that they have a full second movie (or most of it) remaining but neglected to show it this time. The whole premise is very intersting but it is not explained very well and the movie is quite shallow. I give it a 5/10
College Road Trip - This movie was a disaster from the start, poor acting, bad characters and a lame and predictable storyline all come together to make this one of the worst movies I have ever seen. It felt like it was 5 hours long. Donny Osmond’s freaky character is the sole saving grace of this movie but I still give it a 1/10

So this film looks to be a real bomb, here are some of the funny reviews I found for Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem.
The problem with the “Alien vs. Predator” series is that the humans keep getting in the way. - Boston Globe Ty Burr
The film’s major draws are R-rated gore and some nice physical effects, proof that a man in a top-of-the-line monster suit can still be more effective than CGI. - TV Guide Maitland McDonagh
Ho, ho, ho - the joke’s on anyone who pays to see this. - ReelViews James Berardinelli
